New York-based hedge fund technology provider Gravitas announced Tuesday that increasing demands for its services has prompted the firm to expand its India office.
Gravitas’ India expansion includes moving to a larger office space in Mumbai to accommodate its growing team for the region’s 70 employees, which is up 110% from a year ago. Gravitas expects to make additional hires in the next several months.
The firm saw its revenues increase by 50% last year, which was also when it implemented its cloud-based computing system,Founded in 1996, Gravitas provides cloud technology, collaborative outsourcing, risk support and research to the alternative investment industry. It has additional offices in Chicago, Greenwich and Ahmedabad, India.
